Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
Welcome to my blog. I’m a middle aged man (50 at the time of this) who became disabled by epilepsy and chronic pain in 2012. I have a background in security monitoring and transportation (courier/trucking) operations management. I’m divorced and I have one grown child that lives back East.
I’m a fairly new Christian. I believe in God and His Son Jesus Christ, and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in April, 2014. I like to be very involved in my church. My faith has become everything to me!
In December, 2017 I suffered another large tonic-clonic seizure. This time while out on a date, in a restaurant. I hit my head, suffering a mTBI (severe concussion/brain bleed) and ended up needing a second cervical surgery.
During my last Dr. visit, I was diagnosed with PCS (post concussion syndrome) and PTSD because of all the trauma in my life. There are a lot of challenges I face 24/7, impacting my ability to function. At this time I’ve decided to start a blog as a therapy, to help with my recovery, and hopefully help me work through all of this.
I hope to spread awareness about PTSD, PCS, Epilepsy and more. I’m also looking forward to journaling my about my experience living with these conditions, and sharing some interesting things that hopefully you’ll enjoy.
Please leave me feedback or contact me and I will get back to you. I hope you enjoy! God bless you all.
Meet my service dog and best-est bud, Miss Chevious “Allie” Poochino.
